This epic work for chorus, solo, and organ explores sorrow and paradise as it takes the audience on a journey of loss through the promise of eternal love and mercy. This work will be presented by the Music Ministry of First Presbyterian Church with conductor Leon Lake, accompanied by Dr. Jessie Lo on First Presbyterians magnificent 4 manual Muller organ, and soloists from UNM's Opera Theatre. This Tenebrae service will be in the sanctuary and will include the Sacrament of the Lord's Table.
