2013 Mission Fiesta
During 2013 Lent, First Presbyterian was joined by Second Presbyterian and Camino de Vida for a Joint Lenten Project. We collected new socks, Sunscreen, lip balm, bath size towels, Toiletries (travel size or regular size) – soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes for Healthcare for the Homeless; food items - fruit cups, granola bars, crackers, small pop top meat cans (Vienna sausage, tuna, chicken), Toilet Paper or Dry Pet Food (small bags for dogs or cats) for donation to the Rio Grande Food Project. To complete our joint mission project, we met for a Mission Fiesta and Potluck at First Presbyterian Church. We sorted and packed the donated items and celebrated with live music, good food and good company [Photos by Jeff Hoffman].

Advent

Our 8:45 Worship Service

The 8:45 Worship Service at First Presbyterian Church is a less formal service offering Communion every Sunday.

The service is held in our Fellowship Hall September through May.  June through August the service has been held in our Outdoor Worship Space.

Our 11:00 Worship Service
Our 11:00 am Worship Service is our more traditional service and takes place in the Sanctuary.  The Chancel Choir sings most Sunday's of the year and the Organ, which is the largest Pipe Organ in the state of New Mexico, is an enhancement of each service.  Communion is served at this service on the first Sunday of every other month.

2012 90th Birthday Party

The 90th Birthday Party is an annual event hosted by the Board of Deacons.  Its purpose is to honor those members and friends of our congregation that are 90 years of age and above.

A worship service is held at 11:00 am in the Sanctuary followed by a lunch in Fellowship Hall.

Annual 4th of July Service

Annual 4th of July Service

First Presbyterian Church joins other churches in the Presbytery of Santa Fe to celebrate the 4th of July at Menaul School.  Pastors and lay people from the participating churches participate in the worship service.

The Albuquerque Concert Band provides patriotic music and a picnic follows the service.
